Tl;dr: AI image generators suck and so do all the major 'art' platforms. I’m trading the loathsome ArtStation, Twitter, and Instagram for Pillowfort, Artfol, and Inkblot. (And looking for other suggestions on galleries to try! Tell me where you guys are at!) I’m struggling to detach myself from long-time online home deviantArt, but I think morally and for our own good we should probably all gtfo from this place sooner than later. An actual lawsuit has finally been leveled at dA (for DreamUp, as part of a larger suit over Stable Diffusion) and I have some dumb hope it will spook sense into this site. However, some of the largest have trained their AIs using images scraped straight off of the internet, including mine. We were not paid, or even asked.
